The Interior Design program at

The Interior Design program features analysis and design of living/working environments that are both functionally efficient and aesthetically satisfying. This perspective integrates function and aesthetics into the design process and the generation of design solutions for residential, commercial, retail and hospitality, institutional, educational, and health care environments. The curriculum assures that graduates understand human development, aesthetics, the history of architecture and interiors, building systems, codes and technology, business procedures in professional practice, and the development of graphic communication skills.

All students in the Interior Design program receive guidance from faculty advisors. The curriculum follows the FIDER guidelines and integrates the educational experience into promising careers.
Opportunities for leadership, networking and potential lifelong professional relationships are presented through student membership in The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), as well as participation in the program’s annual exhibit of student work in which design projects are showcased.
