The Student Services Center/Educational Opportunity Program (SSC/EOP) is the advisement center for the College of Health and Human Development at CSUN.

We provide advisement services for all continuing students, first-time-freshman and first-time transfer students in HHD. The SSC provides general education advisement on a semester basis to all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. We provide referral services to all students in the college looking for advisement within their major.

About Student Services Center/EOP

The Educational Opportunity Program was established over 35 years ago to provide access to all college bound students the opportunity to attend college regardless of their educational or economic backgrounds.

The SSC/EOP provides assistance with:

• adding and dropping classes
• financial-aid re-instatement
• access to financial assistance to those who qualify
• academic re-instatement
• university petitions
• recruitment and retention services for students
• faculty mentoring programs
• transitional academic programs for first-time freshmen and first-time transfer students
• college based academic advisement services
• personal one-on-one advisement services
• academic success workshops
