The Diane Davis Endowment Fund for Communication Disorders and Sciences will provide support to students in the department's Speech Pathology Program as it honors her memory. Her mission of providing support to people who have had laryngectomies is embodied in this gift from her husband, Joel Davis.
Professor William Whiting, PhD (Kinesiology) has been named the 2010-11 CSUN Research Fellow from the College of Health and Human Development. Throughout his career, Whiting has consistently focused on the well being of people of all ages and abilities. In his fellowship year he will perform research to better understand the relationship between fatigue and injury.
