Getting to know businesses and organizations in the community is important for future networking, getting a sense of the profession you're learning about. We place a high value on academic internships. In fact, many of our programs require internships and experience for special certifications.
Advisement:
To help you stay on track, the college requires students to get advisement every semester. Freshmen and sophomores can get advisement through the HHD/EOP Student Services Center.
If you have selected a major (and/or are a transfer student), you can get advisement from the department that has the major you would like to pursue.
